Title  Assessment of the psychometric properties of the adult and adolescent versions of the Cannabis Problems Questionnaires
Description  This project will establish the reliability and validity of the adult and adolescent versions of the Cannabis Problems Questionnaires that were developed for use in clinical trials with cannabis using clients at the Centre. The studies will involve interviewing 100 each adults and adolescents who are recent cannabis users on two separate occasions over one to two weeks. The assessment will also involve examination of the factor structure and internal reliability of the two measures. This study will allow for the publication of these measures for use in clinical and research settings with cannabis using populations.

Benefits:
This study demonstrated the CPQ in versions for adult and adolescent cannabis users are a valid and reliable measure of cannabis related problems that are sensitive to change and clinically appropriate. This has facilitated their adoption in a number of clinical and research settings.
